Dear Graduate Students,
Join us for coffee and snacks at the next GPP Open Office – Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 9:30-11am in Building 2, Room 2W15 – as we welcome Betsey Wade, the new GPP Deputy Director, to the NIH.  Betsey joins us from the University of Arizona, where she is the Director of Research Affairs at the College of Medicine.

The GPP Open Office is a regular chance for you to meet GPP staff and give us feedback about what’s great and what’s tough about being an NIH graduate student.  Did you really enjoy a recent OITE seminar and want to share with us the reason?  Think a workshop that you attended could be improved?  You only get answers if you ask the questions and workshops will only get better if you give us feedback.  Or, maybe you are interested in becoming involved in the graduate student community – this is the perfect opportunity to do so.   

There will be a book raffled every half hour at the Open Office.  In addition, if you haven’t received the most recent version of the GPP handbook we will be handing out copies.
