Dear GPP students,
The 2008 GPP Student Retreat will be on July 17th and 18th at Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort in Cumberland, MD. Don’t miss this exciting event open to all graduate students doing dissertation research at NIH! Each year, PhD students get together for 2 days of science, professional/career development, food and fun. All lodging and meals are paid for by the GPP. There will be a bus for students who would like to ride it. You are also free to carpool to the retreat. The theme for this year will be “A Graduate School Roadmap” and we have planned sessions for students in each stage of their graduate career. Last year’s retreat was a huge success and we hope you will plan to attend this year’s event. In order to attend, you need to register for the retreat no later than Friday, June 6th at 5:00 pm. Information on submitting an abstract for a poster or oral presentation will be sent out at a later date – right now we just need to know that you will be attending the retreat.
