Want to improve your confidence when speaking English? Please join the Office of Intramural Training and Education for “Improving Spoken English: What Americans Need to Hear” on March 6th from 1-3 on the Bethesda campus. Designed for non-native, English speaking scientists, this session offers tricks and helpful hints on improving spoken English. The seminar highlights what Americans like to hear and includes tips on diction and pronunciation of scientific words. After the seminar, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for additional practice. Please register in advance: Click to Register <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=xQPypvApMESmBIhqsTpKYg_3d_3d> This program will be run several times a year. If you are unable to attend this session, please look for the next announcement in the spring.
