The Research Festival, the annual celebration of science at the NIH, is soliciting original artwork.  This artwork will be used for promotional materials such posters and program books.  NIH trainees, employees and others are invited to submit artwork that best represents the NIH.
Deadline is August 3, 2009

The graphic is an average of 11 wide x 14 high inches.

Provide artwork:

Original painting or drawing, at 100 to 150% or 11 w x 14 h to 16.5 w x 21 h inches
OR photograph 8 x 10 (these will be scanned)

Bitmap based computer artwork
The minimum resolution at this final size = 150 dpi
Preferred resolution = 300 dpi

Vector based computer artwork
Can be made 11x14 or any size proportionate to this image area

*Bitmap programs provide original and saved as a .tiff:
Photoshop file or paint program file or photograph

*Vector programs provide art saved as .eps file (Encapsulated Postscript File)
Illustrator eps

The winning artist agrees to give all rights of the image to the NIH.  The NIH will credit the artwork to the artist.
