Just arrived at the NIH? Wondering how to make the most of your time here? Want to set goals and establish expectations with your mentor? Trying to figure out how to navigate NIH resources? Interested in becoming a part of the NIH trainee community?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join the OITE staff and other trainees at Orientation. We will discuss getting to know the NIH, skills for success, career and professional development opportunities, and more.
Orientations run year-round on the first Tuesday of every month from 8:30-10:00 a.m. The next one will be August 4 in Wilson Hall (Building 1, 3rd floor). Visit http://www.training.nih.gov/trainees/index.asp#orientation for additional information and to register.
This session will be in Bethesda. If you are on another campus, please feel free to call or email an Office of Intramural Training and Education staff member at any time for more information on OITE programs. We also regularly schedule workshops on other campuses and would be happy to meet with you on our next visit.
