Do you wonder how to get a research position in India after your postdoc at the NIH? Are you looking for advice on Indian grant and job opportunities? Well, just ask!  The Visiting Fellows Committee and Fogarty International Center are hosting an informal networking event for those interested in careers in India.  This ‘Science Voices from Home’ session will host Dr. Rajesh Gokhale, Director of the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB).

In recent years, IGIB has transformed itself into a premier laboratory under CSIR.  IGIB conducts path breaking Research and Development activities in various areas of modern biotechnology and biological sciences.  IGIB research strengths include allergy and infectious diseases, molecular pathogenesis, recombinant DNA technology, Genomics, and Bio-informatics: http://www.igib.res.in/ <http://www.igib.res.in/>

Dr. Gokhale will discuss the Institute he leads, describe academic positions available within IGIB, and discuss more broadly the opportunities in other Indian institutes.  Please join us for an interactive and stimulating discussion with Dr. Gokhale. Open to all NIH fellows.
